Since 2009
Café Larue et fils first opened its doors in Montreal's Villeray neighborhood in 2009. It was an exciting project launched by two entrepreneurs who wanted to open their own social club centered around a good cup of coffee.
From the moment it opened on Castelnau Street, this neighborhood café attracted the attention of passersby, who still come in today for their daily dose of caffeine. The first few weeks turned into months, then years; this café has seen friendships, couples, and families come together.
Expansions
With growing commitment, the Larue family opened a new branch in 2013 on Jarry Street. These two locations have overcome many challenges and, above all, have always served the people of the neighborhood tirelessly to bring comfort and happiness to those in need. Naturally, the story continues when, in 2017, a third door bearing the logo opened on Saint-Zotique Street.
Coffee roasting
It was in 2019, a fateful moment when Café Larue finally decided to roll up its sleeves and start roasting its own coffee. Now, we can conscientiously choose the best product to offer our customers, friends, and family.
Conscientious coffee
Café Larue is clearly committed to producing conscientious coffee that respects everyone involved in its production, from the farm to the cup. What sets us apart is not only our passion for coffee, but also our enthusiasm and loyalty to our customers.
At Café Larue, there is no coffee without customers, and no customers without coffee. That's why our vision focuses not only on the origin of the coffee, but also on those who enjoy it.
